The upcoming Reunion / Picnic of the Daniel Boone High School Class of 1961 — on August 16, 2014 — celebrates 53 years since we graduated —
on Monday, June 12th, 1961.

What:	Class Picnic
Date:	Saturday, August 16, 2014
Venue:	Birdsboro VFW Pavilion 321 East Main Street (at Water Street) 1 block east of the 1961 Birdsboro YMCA
Time:	12:00 noon to 7:30 pm – rain or shine
Cost:	$10 or $15 per person attending — depending on choice of lunch
Lunch:	at 2:00 pm $10 Selection: 4-piece fried chicken $15 Selection: Shrimp clam bake
Beverages:	iced tea, and water will be provided — or bring your own • plus a cash bar will be available inside the VFW
Dessert:	cake & ice cream
Theme:	not yet determined — please contact Mary Roberts with your suggestions
Music:	original recordings — mostly from 1954 to 1961
Parking:	you may park in any of the 3 lots — but, the one behind the main building is closest to the pavilion

We had a very nice turnout at our 52nd Picnic/Reunion in August of 2013. The final nose-count was: 26 classmates, plus 18 guests — for a total of 44 in all.

Furthermore — 3 of those classmates were symposiasts who were not at our 51st fete in August of 2012:
